Lite Tech is donating a supply of x-ray protection aprons to Penn Orthopaedics’s first annual medical mission to the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar. Dr. Matthew Winterton, an orthopedic surgery resident at the University of Pennsylvania, approached Lite Tech about the mission he and his fellow residents and surgical staff will be undertaking.
Lite Tech recently donated a supply of x-ray protection aprons to Grace4Haiti Medical Missions (G4H). G4H provides support to Haitian physicians and nurses through doctrinal training and educational materials in addition to performing surgeries and routine medical care to patients in need. Lite Tech’s donation will contribute to G4H’s mission of supporting the Haitian healthcare system and optimizing the well-being of the people of Haiti.
Martin Lilley, Lite Tech Technical Director and IEC technical committee member, will speak at this year’s CIRSE congress in Copenhagen, Denmark on the topic of new European Standards.
